- Description: Mau P is taking over a 22,000-seat LA stadium solo. Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance is launching its own festival. Neither needed a lineup of headliners to justify the venue — just one artist's name.

**Mau P doesn't need a festival lineup to fill a stadium anymore — just his own name on the marquee.** On January 30, 2027, he's commandeering BMO Stadium in Los Angeles solo for his Generation Rebrand experience, debuting material from his forthcoming album. Around the same stretch of calendar, Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance brand is launching its own two-day festival in Los Angeles, June 11–12, 2027 — ASOT's first multi-day event in North America. Two different artists, same underlying move: the brand is the artist now, not the lineup.

## One name, one stadium

Stadiums used to be reserved for mega-festivals stacking a dozen headliners across a weekend. **Mau P taking over BMO Stadium by himself flips that math** — one artist, one night, new album material as the draw. That's a bet that his name alone moves enough tickets to justify a stadium-sized room, no supporting lineup required.

## ASOT skips the lineup problem entirely

Armin van Buuren's ASOT brand is taking a related but distinct swing: instead of booking into someone else's festival, it's building its own two-day event in Los Angeles. **ASOT doesn't need to share a bill with other promoters' headliners — the brand itself is the whole lineup.** Two decades of trance radio and club nights turned into festival-scale trust on its own.

- **Mau P, BMO Stadium, Jan 30, 2027** — solo stadium takeover, new album material debuting live.
- **ASOT, Los Angeles, June 11–12, 2027** — the brand's first multi-day festival in North America.
- **The shared move:** neither needed a traditional multi-headliner lineup to earn a venue this size.

## The lineup used to be the pitch

For years, the lineup poster was the product — stack enough names and the ticket sells itself. **What Mau P and ASOT are both betting is that a strong enough single brand can replace the poster entirely.** If that holds for both of these at the scale they're attempting, expect more solo stadium plays and self-branded festivals to follow instead of another round of all-star bills.
