Effective November 3, 2026. Electronic Dispatch LLC, a California limited liability company ("Electronic Dispatch", "we", "us").
By using electronicdispatch.com (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. See also our Privacy Policy.
What the Site is
Electronic Dispatch is an independent publication covering underground electronic music: news, features, reviews, mixes, and events. We aim to be accurate and to correct mistakes on the record (see Corrections and our Editorial Policy), but the Site is provided for information and entertainment, not as professional advice.
Our content
The articles, photographs, graphics, and design on the Site belong to Electronic Dispatch LLC or to the people credited, unless stated otherwise. All editorial is © the original authors. Third-party images, artwork, and quotations belong to their owners and are used with credit or under the license named in the caption.
You may:
- Read the Site and share links to it.
- Quote a short excerpt with attribution and a link back to the original article.
You may not, without our written permission:
- Republish full articles or substantial parts of them.
- Copy the Site in bulk to build a competing product.
- Remove credits, captions, or labels from our content.
Submissions, pitches, and tips
You can send us music, mixes, events, story pitches, and tips. If you do:
- You promise that what you send is yours to send, and that it does not break anyone's rights or the law.
- You give us permission to review it, and, if we cover it, to quote, link to, and embed it, and to show the artwork or photos you supplied, to report on you and your work. You keep ownership of everything you send.
- Sending something does not guarantee coverage, a reply, a score, or a positive review. Nothing you can pay for or promise affects our coverage. If anyone, including us, suggests otherwise, that breaks our Ethics & Funding policy.
- Music and mix submissions have a $10 application fee, paid through Stripe (the charge appears as COVENANT ART). The fee pays for a full listen by an editor within 14 days of receiving both your payment and your submission. It does not buy coverage, individual feedback, a score, or any influence over what we publish. One submission per fee. If we miss the 14-day window, we refund the fee. Event listings and writer pitches are free. If the fee changes, we will update this page and the Submit page before the change takes effect.
- Tips: we do not name tip sources unless you ask us to be named. We do not promise a story will run.
Events and listings
Event details (dates, times, venues, lineups, ticket links) come from promoters, venues, and public sources and can change. Always check with the venue or ticket seller before you travel. We are not responsible for changes, cancellations, or what happens at an event.
Sponsored content
Any sponsored or promoted item is clearly labeled and does not change our editorial coverage. Sponsors get a label, not a say. See Ethics & Funding.
Links and third-party content
The Site links to and embeds content from other companies (for example, music players and maps). We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Linking to something is not an endorsement.
Newsletter and accounts
If you subscribe, you agree to receive the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We may suspend or remove accounts that are used to abuse the Site or send spam.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use (such as /ghost/), submit malware or spam, or harass people.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright, email hello@electronicdispatch.com with: a link to the page, a description of your work, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will review it promptly and remove or fix the material where appropriate.
No warranty
The Site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the content is complete or current.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Electronic Dispatch LLC and the people who write for it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If you keep using the Site after that date, you accept the new terms.
